We are pleased to welcome Kirsten Grant to AGRIS Co-op at Brigden.
Kirsten has experience working in agricultural stewardship across sectors; focusing on the intersections between agriculture and water. Specifically, Kirsten has spent time understanding nutrient movement in rural landscapes in the Great Lakes region.
Kirsten has a Master of Science degree from the University of Waterloo and researched fertilizer placement and subsurface phosphorus transport to tile drains. She also has a Bachelor of Environmental Science specialising in Natural Resource Management from the University of Guelph.
Kirsten values knowledge-sharing and has experience sharing ideas with farmers, NGO (non-governmental organisation) staff, technical specialists, and policymakers.
Kirsten adds, “Some of my hobbies include cooking, gardening, crafting and reading.” Kirsten can be reached by email at KirstenGrant@agris.coop or (519) 328-4179.
