AGRIS Co-operative Ltd. has a Summer Sales Development Intern opportunity for a motivated Student to join our AGRIS Team. As a Summer Sales Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to develop sales and marketing skills by positioning a data collecting tool called Fieldview with our customers, develop your agriculture knowledge with hands-on experience, and gain an understanding of careers available at AGRIS.
What will you be responsible for:
- Providean exceptional customer experience at every interaction
- Under the leadership the Senior Agronomist and Sale Manager you will work closely with our channel partner Bayer Crop Science and our own local Crop Sales Specialists to identify interested clients and support the onboarding and use of Fieldview
- Ensures that all associated documentation is accurate and complete according to requirements and schedule.
- Ability to work closely with the branch and AGRIS teams to deliver on profitable solutions for AGRIS and our farm owners.
- Awareness of sustainability issues such as 4R Stewardship
- Trainingand support will be offered in both sales/marketing and become proficient inthe technology.
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements for this Job:
- General Farming knowledge is an asset
- Maintain a Valid Drivers License
- Travel as required to support Farm Owner & Branch needs across AGRIS Co-operative Market
- Become proficient in using the cloud-based services to perform analytics (training by service provider)
