AGRIS Co-operative Ltd. hasan opportunity for a full-time truck driver- operator 2 tojoin our AGRIS team in Stoney Point. As a truck driver, you will assist in thedelivery of agriculture innovation and services to the communities we serve andto enhance farmer-owners’ profitability across our AGRIS Co-operative market.

What will you be responsible for: 

• Providesan exceptional customer experience at every interaction.
• Thesafe operation of assigned vehicles.
• Ensuresthat all deliveries are made on schedule.
• Provideexceptional experiences at every interaction.
• Performregular safety checks of the vehicle(s), keep the truck clean, and ensure thatproper preventative maintenance and lubrication is carried out as required.
• Ensuresthat safe loading and unloading techniques are followed and must be able toload and unload trucks independently and operate electric pallet cart.
• Ensuresthat all associated documentation, including shipping and receiving, isaccurate and completed according to schedule.
• Performsother tasks associated with the handling of seed, fertilizer, grain, and otherproducts handled by the co-operative.
• Safetyconscious and knows steps and procedures required in case of an accident;follows detailed procedures as stipulated.
• Maintainscurrent legislated and company required licenses, permits, etc.
• Hasgood knowledge of the Ontario Highway Traffic Act, practices safe drivingtechniques and maintains a good driving record.
• Understandsand follows company health and safety and environmental policies andprocedures.

Requirements for this Job: 

• An agricultural background is preferred.
• Ability to work irregular hours.
• Valid DZ license is required.
• Proven interpersonal, organizational and planning skills.
