Digital Ag Sales & Support Specialist | Agriculture - Central Office

AGRIS Co-operative Ltd. has a Digital Ag Sales & Support Specialist opportunity for a motivated individual to join our AGRIS Team. As a Digital Ag Sales & Support Specialist, you will be responsible for championing the adoption, integration, and support of all AGRIS digital tools and platforms, including Climate FieldView, John Deere Operations Center and myFS Agronomy. You will also serve as the main point of contact for Climate Field View adoption, troubleshooting, providing hands-on support to staff and growers while aligning digital tools with agronomic, seed, and service strategies. 

What will you be responsible for: 

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience at every interaction. 
  • Under the leadership the Senior Agronomist and Senior Solutions Manager, Sales and Marketing Strategic Growth you will work closely with our channel partner Bayer Crop Science and our own local Crop Sales Specialists to identify interested clients and support the onboarding and use of Climate Fieldview 

Digital System Expertise 

  • Learn and maintain deep working knowledge of all AGRIS digital platforms (e.g., CRM, myFS Agronomy, mapping, Climate FieldView, John Deere Operations Center and other emerging platforms and branch activities). 
  • Serve as the first line of support in field for staff and customers using Climate FieldView and John Deere Operations Center Integration and other emerging technologies
  • Lead myFS Agronomy adoption, Climate FieldView strategy based at Muirkirk, including onboarding, grower training, and in-season data use. 
  • Support the use of Climate FieldView for scouting, prescriptions, and performance analysis company wide. 

Internal Enablement 

  • Train staff on digital platforms and ensure tools are integrated into daily work. 
  • Create or distribute tip sheets, update guides, and provide ongoing learning opportunities. 

Grower Engagement 

  • Assist with onboarding new growers at all locations to digital tools and ensure they understand how to access and use data. 
  • Provide in-season and post-harvest digital insights to support AGRIS agronomic recommendations. 
  • Ability to work closely with the branch and AGRIS teams to deliver on profitable and sustainable solutions for AGRIS and our farm owners.  

Tracking & Reporting 

  • Monitor key digital adoption metrics (e.g., users onboarded, map layers shared, new users). 
  • Share regular updates with leadership on progress, challenges, and success stories. 
  • Ensures that all associated documentation is accurate and complete according to requirements and schedule. 

Feedback & Continuous Improvement 

  • Actively gather staff and grower feedback to improve system use and service delivery. 
  • Liaise with IT or vendor teams as needed to resolve technical issues or recommend enhancements. 
  • Work closely with Agronomy Strategy Manager / Senior Agronomist and Advanced Information Services Specialist.    
  • Awareness of sustainability issues such as 4R Stewardship. 
  • Training and support will be offered in both sales and marketing while becoming proficient in the technology. 
  • Other related duties as assigned. 

Requirements for this Job: 

  • Requires a university or college degree or equivalent years of experience preferably in agriculture, or agri-business. 
  • 3 to 5 years demonstrated expertise in agronomy, fertilizer, chemical, seed, and grain marketing. 
  • Have or committed to obtaining the certified crop advisor (CCA) designation within three years. 
  • Travel as required to support farm owner and branch needs.
