Customer Service Manager I Stoney Point

AGRIS Co-operative Ltd. has an opportunity for a motivated customer service manager to join our team in Stoney Point As a customer service manager, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your capability to deliver agriculture innovation and services to the communities we serve and to enhance our farm-owners’ profitability across our AGRIS Co-operative market.

What will you be responsible for: 

  • Provide and promote an exceptional customer experience at every interaction. 
  • Provide recommendationsand solutions to meet our customers needs with a focus on the “Whole Farm Plan,”from precision planning and application, ending with grain handling andmarketing.
  • Abilityto support precision planning including GIS mapping, soil sampling, andinterpreting the GIS data for customers.
  • Understandingand supporting overall branch operation, administrative functions, as well asthe branch and individual sales targets.
  • Acceptorders for products and services and initiate any actions required to effect timelydelivery.
  • Ensureall products ordered or shipped are properly invoiced prior to leaving the site.
  • Assistin monitoring inventory levels and ensure adequate supplies are on hand tosupport customer purchasing.  Inconsultation with the manager, complete inventory counts and replace inventoryas required.
  • Assistin the coordination and scheduling of available custom equipment to result inmaximum utilization and quality customer service.
  • Maintainsa clean and attractive environment in the retail area.
  • Awarenessof sustainability issues such as 4R Stewardship, Class 12 Pesticide rules.
  • Extendedhours, as required, during the busy season.

Requirements for this Job: 

  • Requires a university or college degree or equivalent years of experience preferably in agriculture or agri-business.
  • Knowledge of agronomy, fertilizer, chemical, seed marketing.
  • Have or committed to obtaining the certified crop advisor (CCA) designation within three years.
  • Obtain pesticide vendor license and/or professional applicator designations.
  • Travel as required to support farm owner and branch needs.
