Price Guard Contracts

Price Guard enables you to establish a ceiling on your fuel prices for up to 6 months


  • When you join the Price Guard Program, your maximum price will be established at four cents above the current market price of your fuel.
  • The duration of Price Guard is 6 months or until you purchase the total of the litres booked, whichever comes first.
  • The cost to join the Price Guard Program is 4.0 cents per litre for the number of litres you choose to book.
  • If fuel prices drop during the Price Guard term, you will pay the lower price for your fuel.
  • On each delivery, you pay the Price Guard price OR the market price, whichever is lower.

Take the worry out of price volatility on gas, diesel or furnace oil for your home, farm or business in Ontario. Price Guard enables you to establish a ceiling on your fuel prices for up to 6 months. This program protects you against rising fuel prices, while offering the benefit of paying a lower price if market prices decrease. Now that's value!

Diesel Exhaust Fluid

DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) is one of the key elements of the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) process. It is a nontoxic solution of 67.5% purified water and 32.5% urea. When injected into hot exhaust as a fine mist and passed over a catalyst, DEF helps convert NOx (nitrogen oxide) into nitrogen gas and water vapor—two clean and harmless components of the air we breathe. DEF is stable, colorless and odorless, and meets accepted international standards for purity and composition.
